The Rev. Clara King catalyzes emotional and spiritual health in congregations by empowering and equipping leaders wherever they’re found in the Church. An Anglican Priest from Calgary, Canada, Clara has been researching, discerning and fostering congregational health since 2005, using the tools of Adaptive Leadership and appreciative leadership.
These last 5 years, Clara has been the proud half-time Rector of St. George's Anglican Church, restarting this wonderful multi-ethnic congregation in working-class North East Calgary. She is also the first Rural Missioner to serve The Anglican Diocese of Calgary, catalyzing emotional health and adaptive change in small communities and broad systems across the Diocese and beyond.
With her husband Michael, she has two adult step-daughters, two characterful horses, and a delightful Border Terrier named Jonah.
